Hi there FF folks. Welcome to the blog today. It’s me, Sandra, and I used the awesome floral wood veneer shape from the May Embellishment Kit to make a lovely birthday card.
I used white puffy alphas (available from the FF shop) for the title ‘happy birthday’ – you could also use the yellow alphas that come with the kit to decorate your card.
I added some color to the floral wood veneer with embellishment mousse in three different colors – Indian gold for the center, peony pink and aquamarine for the outer parts. I gently applied the mousse with a paper towel. You could also heat emboss the wood veneer or leave it as it is. Either way, I’m sure the veneer will give your card that special something and bring joy to the person you are giving it to.
I really like the wood veneer on the card, because these flowers will stay fresh forever :).

Happy Wednesday! Sami here bringing you a quick card tutorial.
On these cards, the March chevron washi is the star of the show. I absolutely love this month’s washi and I knew I wanted to make some cards with it because it’s so graphic & perfect for clean and simple cards.
These cards are so easy to whip up in a large batch to always have thank yous on hand. Enjoy!
In today’s video, I share how to make a fun Valentine card using the new washi book that is part of the February kits. This technique is super easy & could be used in a bunch of different ways. I hope this idea sparks some inspiration. Let’s get started!
