Everyone Has a Home Layout by Jen

Hey friends! It’s Jen here to share a layout + process video using the glorious November embellishment kit. Are you all loving the new papers and journaling cards as much as I am?!

The minute I saw that house paper, I knew I wanted to fussy cut a bunch of them. Yeah, I’m a little bit crazy. But sometimes crazy pays off!

I lightly adhered the houses in a circle mixing in a few of the puffy stickers along the way. Then I stitched through them so I could pull them up and give them a bit of dimension. I used some of the patterned journaling cards for some layers behind my photo and outlined them with a fine-tipped black pen so they kind of matched the background paper and the houses.

The layout is a story about how my daughter is constantly organizing and reorganizing her stuff. Every thing has it’s place. So I decided to title the page “Every One Has a Home” and that helped tie in the houses. I encourage you to think outside the box with these adorable houses! I added a rubber house and some enamel dots to finish off my title cluster.

Finally I added a chipboard phrase and the journaling below the photo and sprinkled in a few more enamel dots and the date. You can see how it all came together in the process video:

Have you ever tried creating a layout with a circular design? You should, because it’s fun! Have a crafty day!
