Hey there! Jen here to show you how I used the March embellishment kit to create a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout. I love that this kit has a bit of a travel theme, but I want to encourage you to use it to document everyday adventures as well. This is about a little hike I took in the mountains close to my house.
I used the acrylic word as my title and a little label sticker + handwriting for my subtitle. In each cluster of embellishment I added an epoxy arrow, some vellum word strips (from last month’s kit) and some puffy stars.
I had an awkward group of photos to work with – a vertical and horizontal 3×4 and a horizontal 4×6. By adding in the “adventure” wood frame I was able to create a grid for a more cohesive look.
I finished by adding a little pop of red with the washi tape and brought that more into my layout by stamping my date in the same color.
