Hi! Odessa here with a 6×12 pocket page full of fall-y goodness using the October Freckled Fawn Kit. Anyone else loving those new papers? They are so gorgeous and go perfectly with the kits. I cut out a 4×6 card from one of them for the top pocket on this page. This layout is a little insert in my weekly pocket page album from a fall hike we went on.
I cut down one of the papers to make a 4×6 card and attached one of my favourite photos from the day to it. I added on the October wood veneer because it’s just so pretty. I finished it up with some word stickers and one of the chipboard stickers to make a good title card. And a cute puffy heart of course!
For the rest of the pockets I had 3 photos and then used one of the coordinating journal cards this month. They’re a great mix of cute cards and cards with space for journalling which was just what I needed on this page. The colours all go so well together that it was easy to pick one to pop in my layout and get some writing on.
I embellished my pictures with a mix of word stickers, those oh-so-useful label stickers to get some more words down. The word stickers are great for emphasizing something – I used them to talk about how spooky the woods were. Once I got all those words down (there are a lot for me on this page) I added a few cute things. Some more heart stickers, chipboard pieces and one of those adorable wood button stickers. I’ve already said this, but this month’s kit coordinates so well! I could use anything I loved from this kit and it would all work well together which made this layout so easy to put together.
Have a lovely day!
