More Sketch+ Inspiration from Megan

Hi there! Megan here, bringing you some more layouts using this week’s Sketch+ Challenge as my inspiration. Click here to play along with our current challenge!

I used embellishments as journaling bullets for two 6×12 insert pages about my kids’ dance classes for a pocket scrapbooking spread.

I interviewed my daughter about her favorite things about her hip hop class and added what she said to the page, using a puffy boarder sticker as bullet points for the journaling.

Drawing lines underneath each list element, using the boarder sticker as a guide, helped the journaling to look neater.

To finish off the page, I combined a love chipboard sticker from the February kit and a White Puffy Alpha Stickers title next to the photo of my daughter and I with her dance instructors.

I also interviewed my son, asking what he likes about his tap class. I used grid paper as a background to guide my list and added star stickers from the February 2017 Freckled Fawn planner kit as bullet points for my journaling.

I love that using these adds more color to the very simple insert and makes the journaling look more organized.

I also used a washi tape sticker from the kit to break up the segments of the title next to the photo and to embellish the top left corner.

I hope you liked seeing ways I used embellishments as bullets for journaling! I’d love to see what creative ways you come up with do do the same!

Don’t forget to play along with our challenge. It ends tomorrow night!
