Hello lovelies! It’s Megan, and I have a pocket spread to share with you today!
As soon as I got my new Freckled Fawn November kit, I jumped in using it right away! It has a lot of cute house icons, so I automatically jumped to documenting one of the home improvement projects my I’ve been working on. I made a pocket spread for October 15-21.
Going on here: Selfie with my son Jonas before I chaperoned his class field trip (which I’ll document with a separate page), out to eat, my daughter Ava’s last soccer game of the season, Jonas tapping, documenting style, my daughter Eliza spending the night at my mom’s to make her Halloween costume, stuck in marathon traffic, rearranging furniture, coffee + books, new pot roast recipe, messy spaghetti photo of my niece.
I did a lot of embellishing on the title card, which combined cut down patterned paper with a November journaling card, a trio of puffy house stickers to fill in the empty space on the card after I’d added a title, a label sticker in the corner with a little embellishment cluster of a banner phrase sticker and enamel stickers.
Because of that, I kept the rest of the page fairly simple. I used all journaling cards from the kit, adding washi tape to one for a bit more color.
Going on here: The before picture of Eliza’s unfinished future closet space in the attic–lots of gross insulation that squirrels once lived in and weird broken things previous owners threw in, supplies in the van to finish closet spaces (man, this van is a game changer), my husband Jake playing with our baby niece when we went to go pick up our kids from my brother’s, family dinner and cookie decorating at my mom’s.
I love how this spread turned out and I’m excited to go make more!
Do you have home improvement projects to document that could use some house icons?
